Switch Theatre
Switch theatre is a touring theatre company, with a base in London, who specialises in intersectional feminist re-tellings of theatrical classics, alongside working with schools to inspire the next generation.

My role
For this personal project, I was in charge of branding, graphic design and copywriting. I developed the business idea and company name, I crafted the brand strategy including vision and mission statements, the visual identity and developed the tone of voice. I also worked on on-brand designs and copywriting for marketing materials.
The challenge
The challenge was establishing an identity that is both appealing to young people as well as trustworthy to engage effectively with educational institutions.



The solution
A bold colour palette with strong typography is accompanied by more traditional layouts and imagery, allowing the brand to strike the right balance between trust and dynamism.
Brand activation
Switch theatre’s brand is activated across all touchpoints and through dedicated marketing activities. For example, they host an annual conference themed around a classical text or author as a space to engage educational institutions. The conference is hosted in a different city each year to establish nation-wide connections. Switch use their visual brand identity and voice to create a unique and personalised experience for all participants.
