Box Theatre

Vital is dedicated to helping young people who work in horticulture, and their families when times get tough. They provide support, guidance and advice along with financial assistance to those struggling in the industry and have helped millions of people to date.

My role

For this personal project, I developed the business idea and company name, I crafted the brand strategy including vision and mission statements, the visual identity and developed the tone of voice. I also worked on on-brand designs and copywriting for marketing materials.

The challenge

Crafting a brand identity that reflects the variety of services offered by the business, while also conveying its supportive and stable nature.

The solution

The bold colour palette allows for a variety of colour combinations, which convey the dynamism of the brand. The textural elements of the type and background choices also directly reference the gardening and horticultural sector. The tone of voice is therefore used to counter-balance these vibrancy by presenting a direct and to-the-point message.

Brand activation

Box Theatre’s brand is activated across all touchpoints and through dedicated marketing activities. For example, they have developed an app that acts as a companion to all of their work to foster brand advocacy through growing customer loyalty and building an exclusive community. The app includes regular exclusive content as well as recurrent customer engagement campaigns used to develop user generated content.
