Ribbon & Daisy

Ribbon & Daisy is a new e-commerce platform for fitness and nutrition knowledge and inspiration, selling journals and books aimed at women, with a beginner or intermediate interest in fitness and health.

My role

For this commissioned project, I was in charge of branding and graphic design. I conducted market research and crafted a brand strategy and positioning angle, which were the basis for my work on the visual identity, tone of voice and overall brand expression. I also worked on brand guidelines and social media templates.

The challenge

As a new business with a unique product, it was essential for Ribbon & Daisy to establish itself as a robust business and a strong competitor in the market.

The solution

Through consumer behaviour research, I identified key pain points to address through the brand messaging. One of these, was a feeling of uncertainty and self-consciousness present among women interested in attending the gym. As one of the key products Ribbon & Daisy offers is a journal guide to getting fit in the gym, I established a strong storytelling framework to promote this product based on the personal journey of the founder and the key values of guidance and acceptance to directly connect with potential clients and drive more sales.
